Welcome to the Guernsey Association of Trustees
The Guernsey Association of Trustees is the representative association of full and personal fiduciary licensees authorised under the Regulation of Fiduciaries, Administration Businesses and Company Directors, etc. (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2000 by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission and who have chosen to join the Association. Currently the Association has 82 corporate members and 15 personal members and therefore represents the majority of the licensees.
The objectives of the Association are:
- To encourage its members to carry out their respective duties and objects in a manner consistent with the responsibilities of their appointment;
- To provide a forum for considering the common interest of its members and how they may be promoted;
- To represent the common interests of its members.
The Association has created this website primarily for the benefit of its members. However, the Association recognised that other users, with an interest in the Guernsey fiduciary sector, may visit the site and any users are encouraged to do so. This website is intended as a source of information for all users and any feedback on the content of the website is welcome.
The Association is represented on the Guernsey International Business Association (GIBA) and has regular interaction with other representative associations in Guernsey, the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, Guernsey Finance, the Guernsey Registry and the Guernsey branch of STEP.
